Singer/songwriter Joy Zimmerman with cellist Christine Broxterman will share music & stories of courageous women during Her Art/Their Art. Joy Zimmerman, folk & acoustic roots singer/songwriter, will share music and stories of courageous women during the Her Art/Their Art exhibit highlighting the work of female-identifying artists. Joy will be joined by cellist Christine Broxterman at the InterUrban ArtHouse. All proceeds benefit Together Women Rise with its focus on gender equality, community building, and empowerment in low-income countries (togetherwomenrise.org). This year's Her Art/Their Art exhibit is a collaboration between the InterUrban ArtHouse, University of Missouri-Kansas City's Women's Center, Joy Zimmerman Music, and local female-identifying artists.
