Networking for Hindu Professionals December Networking Social December Networking Social Event Blue Martini Friday, December 10th @ 6:30 pm We are honored to select Hindu Students Council (HSC) as our December Charity of the month. It is only fitting that we end this year off by supporting a national organization that was created to cultivate leaders of tomorrow at the college level and high school level, aligning with the principles of NetHP and our passion for connecting with and serving the needs of our youth. When our children leave the safety and comforts of a cultured life as they head out to college to pursue their education and start their own lives; it can be a daunting transition for them as well as their parents. Knowing that HSC Chapters exist and offer a welcoming place for our students to continue to practice their way of life with familiarity is a relief. Our students are supported by their peers to worship, celebrate and live by the values they were raised on without judgement and shame. NetHp serves as a liaison for the UM and USF Chapters in FL as we help these students who are often far from home, to connect with the greater community, offering a safe haven, temples, cultural orgs, mentors, internships, and other vital resources they need. Our Student of the Year Award is being presented to one of these outstanding students; Divya Kaushal, who was instrumental in founding the HSC Chapter at USF. She is currently the chapter president, a student athlete, a researcher, and pre -medical student. Divya personifies the pride of our rich heritage in her hard work and dedication to help her peers to grow, learn, and lead! This is also a great opportunity to connect with our members, professionals, business owners, community partners, and leaders while learning about our charity of the month. Get to know us... Join us!
