This is Buddha. I’ve had him for about 4yrs, he was my Grandmother’s cat. He has anxiety and would be best with a single female with lots of time to cuddle. I’m rehoming him because he is allergic to the large Mulberry tree in my backyard. I’ve been trying to manage it with antibiotics, steroids and anti inflammatory medicine but it’s not helping enough. He scratches his nose until it bleeds, even when I put a cone on him. The pictures are from when I first got him, now he weighs about 17lbs and his face is mess from scratching. I really want to see him heal and be happy. He needs a quiet environment with maybe one other mature cat and/or an experienced dog. He has no social issues but prefers to be on his own. He cuddles all night and loves his belly rubbed. He has had regular veterinary care and will likely need more until his nose is healed. I’m not sure if all his facial hair will grow back but he’s got a better chance somewhere else. Please contact me if you think you can help.
