I really hate to be posting this but we have four male rats, two of which we had a couple months before we got the second pair. The younger boys and the older boys just started to act out and fight with each other… they have plenty of cage space but are territorial as we haven’t got any of them fixed. We need to separate them for their own safety and don’t have another cage or the means to make another enclosure right now. We will be rehoming Mary and Pippin (both boys yes you can change their names) named after lord of the rings (older brothers are Sam and Frodo) anyway we will be very picky who they go to and we do love them but can’t stand to see them hurting each other.
