Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 11/21/2021 5:00 AM 11/20/21 2021-3291, Hit and Run: On 11/20/21 at 7:19 a.m., deputies responded to the 300 block of IL Route 31 in Oswego Township for a report of a hit and run crash. The investigation is ongoing. 2021-3291, Hit and Run: 2021-3293, In-State Warrant: On 11/20/21 at 9:33 a.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Sierra Road in Oswego Township for a report of a property damage crash. During the investigation, Nikolas Rodriguez, a 28-year-old male from the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Oswego Township, was taken into custody on an Aurora Police Department failure to appear warrant for traffic violations with a bond of $2,000, 10 percent to apply. Rodriguez was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. 2021-3296, Domestic Battery: On 11/20/21 at 10:34 a.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Crestview Drive in Oswego Township for a report of domestic battery. The investigation is ongoing. 2021-3299, Driving While License Suspended: On 11/20/21 at 7:48 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at Sycamore Rd. and John St. in Bristol Township for Improper Lighting: One Headlamp.  The vehicle driver, Jonny Maldonado, a 24-year-old male from the 1300 block of Chestnut Ln. in Yorkville, was cited for driving while license suspended.  Maldonado was issued a recognizance bond and released.  2021-3300, No Valid Driver's License:  On 11/20/21 at approximately 10:58 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at Douglas Road and Seasons Ridge Blvd. in Oswego Township for no headlights when required.  The driver, a 16-year-old male from Elgin, was cited for no valid driver's license.  The offender was issued a recognizance bond and released on scene. 2021-3301, In-State Warrant:  On 11/20/21 at 10:58 p.m., deputies conducted a follow up investigation in the 1300 block of Chestnut Ln. in Bristol Township.  Contact was made with Jonny Maldonado, a 24-year-old male from the 1300 block of Chestnut Ln. in Yorkville, who was wanted on two Kendall County warrants for failure to appear driving while license suspended and failure to appear criminal trespass to residence.  Bond for both warrants was set for $5,000 with 10% to apply.  Maldonado was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.  2021-3302, Aggravated Speeding: On 11/21/21 at 12:23 a.m., a deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding 100 mph in a 55 mph zone on US Route 52 at Church Road in Lisbon Township.  The driver of the vehicle, Meredith G. Renner, a 21-year-old female from the 7000 block of Southwest Highway in Worth, was cited for speeding 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.  Renner was issued a recognizance bond and released on scene.   The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.   This press release was produced by Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
