Is there a band out there willing to let me live out one last dream? I am 43, live in Spartanburg and been playing guitar and writing songs since I graduated highschool. Unfortunately I allowed my skills to rust a little but I was going to start taking lessons soon to build my chops back up. However life had other ideas. In October I found out I have stage 4 cancer. What I am looking for is to turn a negative into a positive. I want to live out my rock n roll fantasy one last time. I am looking for a band, if you are willing, to have me sing covers for an evening and have fun. I would like to not only use this for me, but to also raise money for cancer research. I call it "Covers for Cancer". I am by no means looking to take over what you do or run your band; my ego is in check. In fact, I would be VERY humbled by whoever says yes. I know I am asking alot but if any of this sounds intriguing please write me back and we can go from there. Rock on 🤘
