upright bass for eclectic project

Hi y'all. I'm not sure how to explain what I'm doing but I'm looking for an upright bass player or someone who can play an electric bass without blaring and rattling windows and buzzing the snare drum. I am a singer/songwriter with a fair amount of experience with some really fun, easy songs. I'm leaning towards an alt-country, Americana sound. I'm semi acoustic and am going for a busker or coffee house feel. Think Lost River sessions, a PBS series, and the acts that come on there. Tom waits is top of my list of influences. Simple, stripped down and good song writing. I think some of my songs have merit and should be shared. Before you ask, I DO NOT have any samples or recordings on band camp or any of the formats..I do not have a personal FB page. I enjoy what little privacy I have and God knows I don't want some snowflake cancelista getting angry at my dry wit and raging war against my freedom of speech. (they're going after Seinfeld episodes I hear). At any rate, I just wanna play these songs. I have a cocktail drum kit with a suitcase kickdrum. Sounds great and the brushes and blasters are perfect for the sound. If I've peaked your interest, please respond if you're serious about making music.
