The Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board center at 2643 East University Drive in Phoenix will be the site where you can take the AZ-POST certified class in Deaf Sensitivity entitled "I Never Gave THA a Thought!" On-site classes at the training center will be held on several dates and times as follows:
Thursday, Dec 2, 2021, 1200-1600 hours;
Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, 0800-1200 hours;
Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, 1000-1400 hours;
Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, 0001 (midnight)-0400 hours via live webinar;
Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022,0700-1100 hours;
Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, 0200-0600 hours via live webinar;
Tuesday, Mar. 15, 2022, 0900-1300 hours.
Reservations can be made through your training commander, chief, or online or by telephone. Deaf Sensitivity dot com. If you select one of the two overnight webinars, please note that in order to get the 4-hour training credit, AZ-POST requires that you have a working webcam. It is advisable to use a desktop, laptop, tablet or iPad and not a smartphone to participate in class. Material to print and bring with you will be sent via email.
Two 45 minute Question & Answer sessions have been set for Tuesday, 30 November at 1000 hours, and
Thursday, 09 December at 1500 hours, Mountain Time. Please call or email for the Zoom log in URL & or the regular phone dial-in access number.
Law Enforcement and other public safety personnel are welcome to register, too. The class is POST certified in several states.
