We are looking for a frontman/singer/guitar slinger to join an existing electric, high energy, hard driving blues band. No harmonicas. No dirges. No dobros. Just you, your electric guitar, and your love of blues music. Our primary influences are: Freddie King, Albert King, BB King, Albert Collins, and Fenton Robinson. We have a full working set of material down and we are looking to get the right person up and running quickly. This is not a throwback band. We play electric blues with a few R&B songs mixed in with a modern intensity. We are not looking for someone already fronting their own band as we are not looking for booking conflicts. Out of state and out of area need not apply. Auditions/rehearsals are in San Marcos. We have a PA. Gigs are in the Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio areas. Gigs are on the books. Vocals are of utmost importance. Must be a competent guitar player. Must have pro gear and reliable transportation. If your love is the blues and if this sounds like you would be a fit, send a video or videos of you singing blues and playing electric guitar. Could be with a band, at a jam, or recorded with your phone on while you are sitting on your couch. We want to make sure we are in the same ballpark before we will consider you for an audition.
