Utilize your breath to break up stagnant energy in the body, then relax into a deeply powerful Crystal & Tibetan Sound Bath. We will begin with some gentle breathwork to loosen up and detoxify the body of any stagnant energy. Then we will lay down to enjoy a renewing sound bath, allowing the healing vibrations to balance and naturally realign your energy centers. What to bring: - Yoga Mat or Towel to lay on - Wear clothing layers, as it may easily be chillier than expected - Bring an extra blanket to lay over you during the sound bath as the air as well as your body temperature will be dropping during the meditation - Wear a hat or sunscreen to protect your face from the sun - An eye covering for Savasana during the sound bath is a great addition to have! - Any additional comfort items your may need such as: an extra blanket pillow, or scarf If you prefer to pay through venmo, please send the ticket amount plus your email and date of the event to :@Kristina-Welch Please feel free to connect with me on instagram @yoginatina What is a Sound Bath? A Sound Bath is a deeply- immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture the mind and body. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including tuning forks, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, shruti box, and tingsha bells. When you sink into a Sound Bath and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state. The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.
