Search for Harlequin Ducks, other winter waterfowl, and Purple Sandpipers at this beautiful park. A perennial favorite for its wintering Harlequin Ducks, Barnegat Inlet is also excellent for all three scoter species, Common Eiders, Purple Sandpipers and other “rockpipers,” as well as interesting gulls, Peregrine Falcon, and maybe some loafing Harbor Seals or a King Eider. Led by Scott Barnes and NJA associate naturalist.
