For more than a century, we have known that if parents are negligent, absent, if they physically and verbally abuse their children, if they treat them as if they are unwanted, unloved, not welcome in their home; the children's outcome will be bleak. They will be prone towards violence against self and others, severe mental and physical illnesses, substance abuse and other addictive behaviors. Now, suppose an entire people are treated even worse. Every image they see in print or electronic media confirm they are inferior. They are socialized in school to believe the same, and are in fact sent to schools so wretched, we would not allow our cat to live their. They are confined to the worse of the worse neighborhoods because no one wants to live next to them. They are denied employment and certainly if by hook or crook they get a job, advancement is impossible. They must go to dirty, understaffed, medical facilities with no supplies and medical staff that are unintelligible with English proficiency. The only food stores available are dirty, stink of rotting meat and are way overpriced. Government resources either ignore or are outright hostile towards them. How do you imagine they should act? If you truly believed (as you say) that "all" lives matter, you would never stand still and allow such an outrage in our land, and NEVER post such divisive, xenophobic, America dividing on our board. Shame!
