A birthday is just another day, right? Is it a milestone day to mark the anniversary of making through another year? Or simply a reminder that you're one day closer to the grave? Why do we celebrate birthdays? Is it for the gifts? Is it to bring family together? Is it to reflect back on the personal growth we've made over the last year? Happy birthday to me. And happy birthday to you if it's your birthday too. I think I shall spend some time this weekend to reflect briefly on my past, and focus on my future so that I may set some personal goals to improve my life.
