Let's Rebuild our community one event at a time! Let's Pass the Baton!!!!!!!!!!! SHUT IN IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!! LET'S BRING OUR FAMILIES AND OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER. UNITE AS ONE AND HAVE FUN This Relay Race will test the strengths of families as well as letting loose and having fun. Families will complete challenges along the way to the finish line. The Top Three Families will win gifts cards, trophy and crowned champions for the year. Who doesn't love bragging rights! Event will begin at 1:00 pm 1st Race begins @ 2:00 pm ****ATTENTION ALL RACERS**** Arrive @ 1:00 pm for registration so you can receive your numbers and wristbands Amazing Race Rules Families of four will sign up in advance. There is a $5.00 entry fee for each participant and every participant must sign a waiver. Please make sure you list the age of each participant.Racers will show good sportsmanship Each activity must be completed before you can pass the baton to the next family memberIf a baton is dropped it must be recovered by the person who dropped itNo throwing the baton if thrown your team will be DISQUALIFIEDYou choice your order for the challenges Race Challenges "Linked": The two family members must lock arms and legs and race to the next challenge. The two partners will carry the baton to the next challenge. If the baton is dropped the racers must start over."Find Me": One family member will receive the baton from the family members from the previous challenge. The member that will complete this challenge will use their mouth ONLY to find the hidden gummy worms in cool whip. You must find five in order to pass the baton."Shave Me": The next family member that receives the baton from the previous challenge must shave the cream off two balloons in order to PASS THE BATON on to the next challenge. For safety reasons 12 and over must complete this challenge."Don't Drop Me":There are two parts to this challenge. First, Two Children must race to the finish line carrying the baton and a egg each. But the eggs is carried on a spoon and the baton is carried by both participants. If you drop either the baton or egg you must start over. Secondly, the parents will receive the baton and finish the race by playing "In the Hole".In the Hole: Two parents will hit the ball back and forth to each other while moving toward the basket. The ball must go inside the hole. Each racer is only allowed to hit the ball once at time. If you drop it, hit it more than once you must start over. Once the ball goes in the basket the time stops.
