Superheroes Social Skills is an evidence-based program that enhances the social skills of students with autism, adhd and anxiety. Group rates based on insurance. Most private insurance plans accepted. No medicaid. Private pay $40 a session. Superheroes Social Skills Groups for children ages 4-6 and 8-10. Group enrollment is all year from September to June. Superheroes Social Skills is an evidence-based program that enhances the social competence of elementary students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), behavioral disorders, or developmental delays. Any child having difficulty with social skills are welcome to attend and students will be grouped by ages and therapist recommendations. Superheroes Social Skills is for any student who needs to learn to interact appropriately with peers and adults. Superheroes teaches 17 critical social skills: Getting Ready Following Directions Reducing Anxiety Participating Imitating Body Basics Expressing Wants and Needs Joint Attention Turn Taking Responding to Questions and Requests Conversation Recognizing Emotions in Yourself and Others Perspective Taking Reporting a Problem Recognizing and Reporting Bullying Responding to Bullying Problem Solving and Safety Call today to register. Wednesdays 5pm-545pm and 615-pm-700pm. New classes and times will be added as new families register. Group size limited to CDC guidelines to protect safety. Masks required.
