Travel on a charter bus as we stop along the streets of Chicago capturing amazing photos of the most magical season in Chicago — CHRISTMAS! Experience the iconic Magnificent Mile on a Photowalk like no other with live models, expert training and a photog community sure to inspire your creativity. This FREE event is made possible by Skylum Software, creators of the award winning photo editing software Luminar! This awesome Photowalk will take you through the most notorious Christmas lights and scenes on Michigan Avenue with live models! Starting at the timeless charm of the Palmer House, you will join the Award-Winning Photographer, Sherry Hagerman, as she walks you through the streets of Chicago during a most magical season. After some important off camera flash (OCF) training, you'll embark on a heated travel bus (with a bathroom) to Macy's Famous Christmas Display, the Wrigley Building and then on to the historic Chicago Water Tower where horse-drawn carriages are common. To finish off this incredible day, you'll gather at the world renowned holiday market Christkindlmarket Chicago to mingle and enjoy the merriment with beer, hot chocolate and so much more! All attendees will walk away with a generalized understanding of a fun and easy way to light any subject properly and quickly in the dark, plus members of the Skylum team will randomly give prizes away! THIS FREE EVENT IS LIMITED to the first 50 people to sign up. Who should attend Photographers that are interested in capturing the historic romance of the holidays in Chicago while developing and enhancing skills with off camera flash (OCF). All skill levels are warmly welcome. What to bring Bring your own equipment or Sherry will have the Profoto line on hand with multiple triggers for sampling. Equipment Sherry will be utilizing: Sony A9, Profoto A10 and Profoto B10. Sherry will have 2 extra light setups and triggers for the sharing of Canon, Nikon and Sony. Sherry has won several awards in her industry including, “Best in the Midwest” for the past 13 years, “Best Wedding Studio in the United States” for the past 5 years, announced in July of 2017 as one of the Top 2 Wedding Photographers in the United States and Top 6 in the World in January 2018.
