Yo, so I put up an ad a few days ago & have gotten a lot of hits back. I wanted to throw this one up to answer the questions I keep getting without having to repeat reply a million times. I’m working on an original project. The genres range from hip-hop, soul/r&b, rock, & some atmosphere tracks. As far as the objectives are concerned I’d be hiring you to : -Record -Perform live We would need to rehearse but only to learn the music at which point we should only need rehearsing to maybe say ‘review a song’ when I’m booked for an event or for filming a live set or for any upcoming tour dates. I’ve received a lot of hits from rock drummers & very good ones but to literally define it you can check out two drummers I’ve recently discovered in the last year on Instagram. • breed_x (Xavier Ware) •yospank Breed I like a lot because he models the fast pace, quick-timed, hardpowered, rolls and fancy drum techniques. I’ve found from church drummers to rock drummers both do it while others tap into it a lot more like really heavy. The yospank dude because I’ve heard some of his counter timed beats and they really hit. They are both black but you don’t need to be hahaha I’m just looking for the right fit so I can continue advancing the production. How I will work it is if you see the ad, are interested, check out a few Instagram videos of these two drum references and hit me back I’ll 10 times outta 10 want to at least have a call, share a little bit about my musical background, hear yours—if you’d like to give it—and pretty much ask you if you think you could do it, if it’s a go then, I’m gonna ask your numbers, and if the numbers work pretty much set up a first meet to play the music in person and hopefully after playing it hear you play alongside of it even if it’s not 100% what would eventually be laid down in the studio. The meet up & play serves to put your drumming to what I have because just talking & texting really ain’t getting nothing done & I’m not going to even be able to gauge whether or not you can til we do. So there it is. It’s paid work, I’m hella cool people’s, I don’t like drama nor tolerate it nor do you have to worry about it coming from me, I got some dope music I’m tryna finish, and hopefully you the person for the job.
