Success with fruit trees in North Texas means not only providing the proper care, but also knowing which varieties- and how many to plant - in order to get the best harvests. It's time to select fruit trees for planting, and NHG welcomes back Texas A & M AgriLife Extension speaker Jeff Raska to detail everything you need to know in this free class. Covered are the best fruits to grow here and the best varieties and how pollination works, along with pest control recommendations and demonstrations of the all-important pruning techniques. We'll even decipher ‘chill hours’ for you-- and what’s that? Ornamental or edible, there's lots to know, but plenty of rewards when you add these trees to your landscape. Jeff's extensive, personal experiences with growing produce made this one of our most popular classes in the past. You don't want to miss your chance to experience it!
