Waretown Spring Wine Festival will be held in the picturesque Waretown Recreation and Lake Area. You can expect to taste over 100+ wines! New Dates for 6th Annual Waretown Wine Festival & 10th Annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival Announced (COVID-19 UPDATE) In light of recent events, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, organizers of New Jersey’s most popular wine festival has postponed their dates to Saturday, April 25 through Sunday, April 26, 2020 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Tickets already purchased through Eventbrite are valid and will be honored in April. Sylvia Allen, organizer of the event, says “The safety, health and well-being of our eventgoers and vendors are always our utmost priority. We look forward to seeing everyone this fall, and we send our well wishes to all during this difficult time. We will get through this.” The cost to attend each event is $15 in advance (until March 30); then the price moves up to $20 until the day of the event when it is $25. Designated drivers and festival attendees are $5.00 and Children Under 12 are FREE. Waretown, which is located just a short distance from Long Beach Island, will host its 5th annual Waretown Spring Wine Festival, Saturday, May 2nd through Sunday, May 3rd, 2020. Festival goers can look forward to tasting wines from many of the state’s most prized wineries during the two-day event. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail vendors, and food vendors all overlooking a beautiful lake situated under magnificent shade trees. The festival will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine. All net proceeds will be donated to Sylvia’s Children, a Holmdel-based 501(c)3 organization working over the past two decades to improve the living conditions of more than 2,000 children in Uganda 25% of whom are orphans.
