Description

Male Veiled Chameleon - 11 months old We recently adopted a cat whom won’t stop harassing him through his cage. We’ve tried several different options to no avail, so unfortunately, for his own safety and well being, I feel it’s best to find him another home. Historically, he’s been the sweetest Chameleon, handled extremely well with no issues. Also has been hand fed for the majority of his life. However, since the cat harassment started, he has become fearful and is hesitant to come out or be fed. Therefore, his new owner must be willing to be patient with him - as I do feel once he realizes there is no threat, he can return back to his normal self hopefully. Although, chameleons by nature tend to like being left alone and not be handled. His new home MUST be familiar with his care needs - including lighting, heat, humidity, space, and nutrition requirements. (I will require proof of these items before I will let him go). He currently eats a varying diet of superworms, dubia roaches, and large crickets. I am willing to include his live plants free and if needed (for an additional fee) any of his current enclosure items, which include: - Large Reptibreeze screen enclosure (absolute smallest he can be housed in) with branches and vines - Repti rain - automatic misting machine -Magnetic “rock” ledge **I am not able to include his UVB bulb/heat lamps though, as I am going to replace another one of my pets with his linear bulb once he is rehomed.** He MUST have a linear T5 HO UVB bulb only along with a separate heat lamp. I do not recommend him for beginners however, am open as long as proof can be provided that you have the time, knowledge, and finances to support his needs. PLEASE do your research if you’re unfamiliar with this species. Sorry for the long post, just want to make sure he finds the best home possible. Serious inquires only please, however I am willing to help with any questions to be sure of a smooth transition. Local pickup only. Text only at 937-838-885zero. He is not free. A reasonable rehoming fee will be required. (Pic is from this past summer)
