Boost your creativity AND confidence in the kitchen at our hands-on baking workshops! Learn how to make Muddy's delicious buttermilk biscuits AND a variety of tasty toppings! What will I learn in this class? You'll learn how to make tender, flaky buttermilk biscuits from scratch and a few tasty accompaniments. You'll also learn lots of baking tips you can apply to other recipes, how the ingredients work, and more. No prior baking experience needed. Adults only please (age 15+). +++++ ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies! Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company. (We occasionally offer youth classes for younger bakers, as well as "team" baking classes where parent & child can bake together). Are classes wheelchair accessible? All our student tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you! What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is extremely limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date and time carefully before booking. Muddy's Bake Shop is an independent bakery located in Memphis, TN sharing lovin' from the oven since 2008. We make insanely delicious homestyle treats- cakes, pies, cookies, cupcakes, and more.  Our small team makes everything fresh, from scratch using traditional methods and small batches. Place a preorder, swing by our walk-in shop, or participate in a class or event. We can't wait to see ya! We began teaching leadership & training workshops internally in 2011 and then with other groups & individuals in 2017. It was only natural to then start sharing baking classes... We expanded our kitchen in 2021 to include a dedicated teaching classroom where we now host in-person baking classes, leadership training classes, birthday parties, and more. We love teaching (and learning from) our wonderful students from many walks of life!
