Experience the Battle of Stones River using all of your senses.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THESE PROGRAMS.
Hear the roar of muskets and the booming of cannon 159 years after those sounds engulfed the battlefield. Park rangers will present talks focused on the 45 minutes of deadly fighting that brought the Battle of Stones River to a close on January 2, 1863. These programs will include firing demonstrations by Union and Confederate infantry as well as Union artillery.
Programs will take place at the McFadden Farm Unit located at 2600 Van Cleve, Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Programs will be offered at 11 AM, 1:30 PM & 2:30 PM.
Reservations are required. Group sizes limited to 75 participants. Reservations may be made on the day of the program at the visitor center desk.
Reservations are non-transferable. Anyone who attempts to transfer or sell reservations will have all future reservations cancelled immediately.
Stones River National Battlefield, a unit of the National Park Service, preserves and interprets the landscapes where one of the most important battles of the American Civil War raged from December 31, 1862 through January 2, 1863.
