J.M. Cope has a new home!  Please join us at our New Headquarters Open House and Ribbon Cutting! J.M. Cope has a new home!  Please join us at our New Headquarters Open House and Ribbon Cutting, happening Wednesday December 15 at 199 S Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Doors open at 8:30 am, and the York County Regional Chamber will perform the ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 am. Breakfast, coffee from Knowledge Perk, and other refreshments will be provided. Our new office is housed in the historic former Rock Hill American Legion building, which served veterans and members of the community for over 65 years. Constructed in 1949, the building was the home of the Rock Hill American Legion post at its highest membership count of 1,500 members in the wake of WWI and WWII. In addition to monthly Legion meetings, the building hosted dances, weddings, and even wrestling matches in its main hall. The post also hosted the York County Fair in the adjoining lot from the early 1950s until the mid-2000s and was known for sporting events such as baseball matches in the 1950s.  We are proud to carry on the legacy of this historic building, and we look forward to the future of J.M.
