Holiday Festivity with RAHS! Holiday Party Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Cutler Insurance Building201 Cajon Street, Redlands. THE REDLANDS AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY invites members to celebrate the Holiday Season at our annual party on December 8th, at the Cutler Insurance building. Located on “The Lord’s Corner” at Cajon and Olive, the site had previously housed the old Trinity Episcopal Church. In 1904, it was removed, and the current structure built as an “Undertaking Parlor” the following year. The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) purchased the mortuary in1914 for $10,000. In 2006 Tom and Julie Cutler bought the building for their church insurance business. The Cutlers demolished an unsightly addition to the rear to increase parking. Society President Tom Atchley will present a brief history of the property, which was recognized by the Redlands Conservancy with an Adaptive Reuse Award in 2012.Please join us for a fun and festive evening of light snacks and entertainment.
