Public tour of the National Building Arts Center campus
Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month for a public tour of the National Building Arts Center. This approximately one-hour walking tour will cover highlights of the collection selected by our docents. We'll cover selected St. Louis buildings, examples of different materials, sculptures from St. Louis, historic machinery, and an insider view of the research library. Come prepared to cover some ground with sensible footwear, and bring a mask to wear for the indoor portions of the tour.
Please also see our remaining 2021 tour date of December 4. Additional group tours are available by appointment.
The National Building Arts Center houses the country's largest collection of architectural artifacts. Located in the historic Sterling Steel Casting Company Foundry, the site interprets the history of building in St. Louis and beyond.
