Annual Holiday Celebration to support the underserved and families experiencing hardships during the holiday. PURPOSE/GOALS This year we plan to distribute more than 3000 gifts and toys to students of Steel and Pierce Elementary Schools and surrounding communities as well as provide food and other items to families who need just a little support during the holidays. In addition we will sponsor 10 families facing hardships and/or a tragic life event during the pandemic with: gifts, household items, food and clothing the week of Christmas. This years sponsors A Humbled Heart, The David and Margie Rosenberg Foundation, Jaden's Voice, TEAM, Inc., the Office of Senator Sharif Street, The Nicetown CDC, Keystone Outdoor, NFL Alumni Association, Toys for Tots, Rubye's Kids, The Philadelphia Phillies, individual sponsors and a host of city-wide community organizations. This is just a reminder and DISCLAIMER regarding the GRAB and GO event, due to COVID-19 all social distancing regulations will be strictly enforced. All attendees must wear a mask and remain 6ft apart and adhere to this stipulation if not you will not be allowed on the premises. Every family will receive; ONE box of food per household and ONE Gift bag per child, per household (ex...5 children 5 gift bags for that household). The gift bags will contain; a gift/toy, stocking stuffers, treats, socks, one pack of mask, and a hand sanitizer.
