Heartbreaking ! 💕 SO many people are discarding their dogs. Dogs who probably love them, well taken care of or not. I have been searching for a small dog so I look at online shelter sites. The shelter sites are beyond full. 90% Pit Bulls and other large dogs. 👉🏼🧤 STOP breeding dogs, there is an overpopulation !! And when YOU breed another litter, the dogs in kill shelters or any shelter, are not getting their chance at survival, a home. Backyard breeders - look at the shelters. 😥 IF you love dogs, especially pit bulls, it should break your heart that there are SO many of them in pounds, shelters, animal control, etc. and some kill shelters. KILL. Your breeding more is adding to the available dog - large dogs, ADULT dogs, senior dogs. And they aren't adopted. IF you have a dog, try and keep. 👈🏼 I see LOUSY excuses for discarding a pet. MOVING is usually not a good reason - you can find a place and never should have gotten a pet if moving is a reason to discard it. That animal cares for you and will miss you. Your putting another dog out there that needs a home. "Landlord" problems are usually avoidable IF you ask a head of time if allowed. I had no trouble finding a pet friendly place. Lame excuses to put you dog/cat in danger and traumatize them. Discarding pets is a lot about being selfish. 👉🏼 Now, there are good reasons, I know, but a lot of the time it's a lousy reason. I was prompted by looking at shelters - seeing sad faces, dogs wagging their tales, thinking they are going to be fine when owner comes back, or they just wait. Please, 😞 I am NOT talking to responsible people. I'm yelling at people who drop dogs off in the country, a neighborhood or take an older dog to be euthanized just because they are old. Old is not a disease. OK, I think you get my point. I'm just saddened by all the faces I saw in shelters. Are you??
