We love having your kids back with us ! Help us by reserving a spot each week for each child. Service Time: Avalon Kids will be open during the 10:45am service beginning Sunday, October 11th. Check-In: ●Classroom capacity will be reduced to allow for smaller groups so we are asking families to pre-register their children. Visit http://www.avalonmc.com/ and click on ‘Reserve Your Ticket’ to pre-register your child. Pre-registration will open every Monday. ● Enter through Door 1 and the ushers will direct you to the Avalon Kids check-in station. Please wear a mask when entering the check-in area ● Upon check-in, parents will receive a Guardian Label Receipt which includes a security code that matches the code on their children’s name tags.● Assistant teachers will be present at check-in to walk children to their classroom to limit the traffic in the Avalon Kids wing. However, we understand there are cases where you might need to walk your child to their classroom (especially for younger children). Pick-Up: ● Parents will be allowed to enter the Avalon Kids wing for pick-up. Please wear a mask when entering the Avalon Kids wing. ● Enter through the door that is on the left side of the stage (near the large cross on the wall). You will need your Guardian Label Receipt to enter the Avalon Kids wing.● Volunteers will direct you to the correct classroom and will help direct you to the exit after picking up your child. Classroom Protocol: ● Classroom sizes will be limited based on the number of volunteers serving and the amount of space available inside each classroom. o Preschool (2-5 years) and Elementary (grades K-5) classrooms will be limited to 12 students per classroom. The Nursery will be limited to 6 children. ● Classrooms will be broken down into the following age groups: o Nursery (0-1 years old) o 2-3 years old o 4-5 years old o K-1st grade o 2nd-3rd grade o 4-5th grade Mask Policy: o Masks are required for all Avalon Kids volunteers and children ages 4 through 5th grade. Masks are optional for children ages 2 and 3.● No snacks will be given during Sunday morning classes.● Toys will be limited in the classroom. Teachers will do their best to monitor the use of toys in order to limit sharing.● Classrooms will be set up to maintain appropriate space between children.● Teachers and students will sanitize hands before entering classrooms. A water and soap sanitization option will be available for those who cannot use sanitizer.
