We are a preferred contractor for IKO, Owens Corning, LP BuildSmart, and Roofing Insights. We do all exterior work but specialize in storm damage restoration and insurance claims. We spend no money on advertising and get most of our business from word of mouth and referrals. Candidates must be able to diagnose leaks and properly execute repairs per industry standards. Any knowledge of EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR and metal roof repairs would be a huge bonus! Job Qualifications: • Experience of asphalt shingle roof repairs/leak diagnosis NECESSARY • Knowledge of roofing procedures and ladder safety • 18 years or older • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Able to set up and climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet • Have reliable transportation • Valid Driver's License (REQUIRED) with insurable driving record • Able to work 40+ hours a week and occasional weekends Ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of roofing, siding and gutter experience, have a valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic. You must be a self-starter and motivated as you have a lot of flexibility to make your own schedule. This had led to problems in the past because people couldn't handle managing themselves and ended up falling behind on their duties. Must be able perform the following: Articulate and professional. Hands-on, customer focused and able to survey existing roof conditions, investigate and diagnose leaks, provide accurate cost estimates for small scope repair work, and perform roof repairs on various types of residential roof systems as required. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Routine roof/property inspections • Diagnose and preform leak repairs on residential roofing projects • Could lead to a project management position  for the right person with assigned helper(s) who you would train to aid you in performing proper repairs and small scope construction for residential roofs - (project supervision experience not required but it would be a bonus) • Accurate record keeping – Time and materials. We use JobNimbus to track our projects and documentation • Represent the company and interact with others in an honest, ethical, and professional manner at all times Requirements: •RESIDENTIAL (shingle) ROOFING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Commercial roofing experience NOT REQUIRED (BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems) BUT PREFERRED • Lead and train helpers in a small team environment • Ability to identify and solve technical field application problems • Daily reporting and adhere to job-site safety and OSHA requirements • Must have good communication skills both with customer and coworkers Examples of work you would be doing: Remove and replace damaged shingles ITEL test and comparison Remove existing chimney flashing and fabricate new flashing and counter flashing Install step flashing and base flashing Repair vinyl siding panels, J-channel, vinyl soffit and corner posts Install seamless aluminum gutters, downspouts and gutter topper Install gutter protection Flat roof experience is encouraged but not required as most roofs we do are shingle to shingles or metal Workmanship, dependability and professionalism will dictate pay for this roof repair technician position. We pay the top shelf guys the top shelf wages. *******If you are inexperienced in roof repair, we may be willing to train the right person (with fair pay) in the skills necessary to earn top shelf wages. We are looking for a long-term teammate to join our company—not a job hopper. We need someone to fill this position now to finish out our season strong. We are open year round and work through the winter although it will slow down past January. After the probationary period during winter, employees can become eligible for certain benefits once their training is complete/spring season is here.
