Namaste! Bhajam, a rock and roll kirtan band is re-forming after COVID and is looking for players and call/response singers to round out our lineup for recording and gigging. We're currently seeking: - Drummer/percussionist: Could be 2 ppl, could be 1 person for kit drumming plus djembe, tabla, etc. - Call/response singers: Lead singers and/or response/backup singers. We've got some fun backing parts as well as traditional call/response Come and get your bhakti on with the power of high-energy rock behind the singing of the Names!! We have an album's worth of original songs and are ramping up to record and release the album and then get some studio and festival gigs. Practice is usually in Bennington where we have a drum kit and PA, but we also gather in Albany and Ballston. Samples available on request.
