Yard waste bin? Seeking place for small amount of household compost

Hello, I'm seeking a place to put a small amount of compost once a week. I live in apartment so I have no place to put it besides the trash. I am a 1-person household and the food waste I generate is mostly composed of fruit and vegetable scraps and coffee filters. If you are in Eugene/Springfield area and have a yard waste bin or compost, I would love to be able to save about 1 gallon of waste per week from the landfill (plus it saves my garbage from smelling). Let me know if you're willing to have a small amount of compost contributed. I am fine with some restrictions if needed, like no meat waste or paper towels. Thanks. Austin
