In 1954, Arthur Christensen started the business as a one-man shop helping members of the community with their plumbing needs. When he retired, his son, Ken, took over the business for 25 years. When Ken retired, his son, Eric, stepped up to continue the family business. This family owned and operated company is a full service plumbing contractor serving the Huntington, NY area of Long Island. We are looking for dependable, hard working candidates eager to work. Must have a valid, clean drivers license. Pay is to be discussed, overtime is available. FULL TIME POSITIONS: -Plumbing Mechanic: Familiar with all phases of plumbing and heating -Helpers/Plumber Assistant: Experience not required. Willing to train. JOB DESCRIPTION: -Plumber: Responsibilities include... *Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures. *Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. *Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. *Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used. *Boiler and Air Conditioning a plus -Plumber's Assistant/Helper: Responsibilities include but not limited to... *Assist in installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
