Livestock Assistant on Farm

We are a family farm in Tobaccoville, NC looking for a motivated individual to help care for our livestock. Tasks will include feeding and watering animals (pigs, ducks and chickens), construction, cleaning, tractor operation, gathering and washing eggs, possibly some hand labor related to our vegetable operation and other field tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate is experienced running a tractor (or other machinery), has some building skills, and is a hard-working self-starter that takes direction well. Must be dependable, drug-free and treat employers and co-workers with respect. Hours are flexible, some weekend availability preferred. About 15-20 hours per week through Winter, increasing in Spring and Summer. The position can become long term for the right individual. If you are qualified and want to work, please respond by e-mail.
