And while this might work for some homes, I have 3 small children, and while we try to explain she’s just playing, and worked with her getting used to them petting her, etc to improve their bond, they don’t understand, they just distance themselves from her and now they avoid her completely around the house, when walking down the hall, won’t go in a room if she’s in there, etc. We’ve worked with her a ton on molding these habits, and she has all the toys, attention, and freedom she could want/need, but it’s just not working out for us. I don’t want my kids to be scared of what should be our family pet. I want them to have good memories of a pet and not fear/be traumatized. I say that all only to say that she might be best in a home with adults only, or kids who are older and won’t be frightened by her level of play. She really does love to play with toys, if you run down the hall and hide around a corner, she’ll come after you and play back and forth like that, she’s a lot of fun. She is great behaviorally otherwise as well, not destructive, excellent litter box habits, and loves to sleep at the foot of the bed at night. Please let me know if you are interested.
