Looking for adult dog

I have a year old husky who is looking for a furry friend. I would prefer a dog who is out of the puppy stage but still loves to play as my boy is always looking to play with someone. I would prefer a long haired dog like a golden retriever, Great Pyrenees, or leonberger but I am keeping an open mind. Also looking for suggestions as to better sources to find a dog other than shelters
