Rittenhouse verdict explained

Kenosha WI

Description

I don't like the Rittenhouse verdict, but let me explain it to you guys. Grosskreutz claimed to see an active threat---a kid with a gun was walking down the streets of Kenosha killing people. He even called Kyle Rittenhouse a murderer. Basically, he confessed to being a gun owner watching somebody commit murder (the WORST crime possible), but then he said he did not have it in him to shoot the active shooter, thereby stopping the threat to public safety and saving lives. I don't know what movies you guys grew up watching, but I was astounded to see somebody admit he was a coward on the witness stand like that. He impeached himself! He got shot because he had a gun and pulled it out and did not really have the nerve to protect himself or anyone else, or he knew that Rittenhouse was not murdering people but was getting messed with himself. He impeached himself! The verdict should have been guilty of voluntary manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter, as Rittenhouse did create the circumstances and provoked the hostilities he faced. The overcharge of premeditated murder was a mistake on the prosecutors' part!
