Explore the night sky at JSP with expert guidance from Dan Price, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador. IN-PERSON NIGHT SKY TOURS ARE BACK! WITH A FEW CHANGES… Night Sky Tour: Field Observations Saturday, December 19 8 to 9pm $10 per person; pre-registration required All ages welcome; Children accompanied by an adult (Yes Card Approved - See Below for Details) Please arrive at the 8pm start time in front of the JSP Art Barn adjacent to the parking lot, and leave by the 9pm end time (this is NOT like past NSTs during which you could come and go throughout the event). Join NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador, Dan Price of Starpointe Astronomy, to explore the night sky at Josephine Sculpture Park! Thanks to a donation from the Holman Enterprises Leadership Team, Dan will set up a camera and monitor to enhance your night sky observations while maintaining COVID-19 safety guidelines. Masks required. Please maintain at least 6ft distance from participants not from your household. Starpointe Astronomy and JSP are ecstatic to host monthly Night Sky Tours as a member of the NASA Museum Alliance. First Sunday Guided Nature Tour: Sensory Nature & Art Walk Sunday, December 6 1 to 2pm $10 /person Pre-registration required; Max. 9 Participants (Yes Card Approved - See Below) As one of the most unique years in history winds to a close, let's take the time to be fully present in place together. Join us at JSP for a sensory nature and art walk, during which we will quietly walk throughout the park focusing on each of our 5 senses. Please bring a journal as we will provide prompts along the way. We will reserve talking for the end of the walk, during which we can share our experiences. When considering age of participants, please use your judgement based on the walk description. Masks required. Please maintain at least 6ft distance from participants not from your household. Yes Card holders (Yiftee eGift Card provided to Just Say Yes participants) may purchase registration for their student with Yes Card funds.
