Shoe Shine is an activity created by House of Shine to unearth the shine of young people by having them fill a shoe box with items representing their hobbies. These young people then identify what they can discover about their preferences, interests, and talents based on what their hobbies have in common. If you are looking for ways to bring out the talents and gifts of your own children, join us as we teach you how to facilitate this activity with your own family. If interested, the House of Shine team will also be available to take children ages 5+ through a guided tour of the House of Shine interactive museum while you are in the workshop; be sure to select the Mom + Children ticket option to utilize this opportunity for your children.
