Description
This kitten is premature and it’s mother is very, very sick. The mother had surgery and is on medication and we are doing everything we can to get her better but she is really struggling. She’s taking care of this kitten but I don’t think she is producing enough milk. The kitten has started mewing a lot and seems to be getting thinner each day. We are attempting to feed it but it’s so easy for bottle/syringe fed kittens to get aspiration pneumonia. If the kitten can nurse naturally it has a higher chance of survival.
If you happen to have a mother cat that is nursing a brand new litter of kittens, would you be willing to try fostering this little kitten and see if your mother cat will accept it?
Email me and let me know, please. 20 minutes away from Denton is about as far as we can travel as we are caring for the sick mother cat.
