Seeking a team-player with a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays). Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background to qualify for a State of Florida Para-mutuel Racing License. HOUSEKEEPER / JANITOR OVERVIEW ($14.00 per hour): Responsible for cleaning all areas assigned and maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA); works under the direction and policies of the employer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Thoroughly clean areas by, but not limited too, dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, empty trash and window washing · Pressure clean chairs and floors · Operate and maintain all equipment / tools* Flexible to work within any area of Maintenance department · Perform other duties as assigned by Management PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: * Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws * Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance * Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others * Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency * Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior * Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted * Respond in a timely manner to all guests and employees WORKING CONDITIONS: * Potential exposure to outdoor / indoor elements and air conditioning / heat * Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching * Occasional lifting (up to 50lbs.) * Flexible work schedule * Overtime work on "as needed" basis WE OFFER: * Competitive Salary * 401k * Great opportunity for growth and advancement * Fun and challenging work environment Current opening is 4pm - 12:30am.
