Adaptive Downhill Skiing WHO: Any RHI Sport participant who wants to go skiing! WHEN: Saturday, January 23, 2021 WHERE: Perfect North Slopes 19073 Perfect Lane Lawrenceburg, IN 47025 Half day - 9:00 - 12:00 or Full Day - 9:00- 3:30 *Arrive by 8:30AM to be fitted for equipment COST: $140 for Full Day or $70 for Half Day; Disabled Veterans - Free. Space is limited! WHAT: Come experience the thrill of downhill skiing. There will be 3 different adaptive ski options for people with visual, spinal cord, neuromuscular, and orthopedic disabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in three track, four track, mono-ski and bi-skiing!! EQUIPMENT: Perfect North only has a certain amount of equipment and they only can assist 4 people per session. They have 2 mono-ski's- for individuals who have good sitting balance a small one and a larger one, 2 Bi-ski's - for those who have limited balance. They also have equipment for individuals who can stand, but still need assistance. RECOMMENDATION:  Perfect North recommends that if you are a new skier or are easily fatigued to do 1/2 day vs a full day package. COVID-19: Perfect North is still working on their COVID-19 Protocols. Start and end times may be altered for increase safety. PAPERWORK: All participants must fill out waiver and liability forms and COVID release forms prior to attending clinic.
