Join drummer, recording engineer, producer, and Clackamas Community College instructor Sacha Müller for an in-depth drum recording clinic. Advanced Drum Recording with Sacha MüllerOVERVIEW In this in-depth clinic you will work with a professional studio drummer to learn crafting of specific drums sounds, advanced miking techniques, production tricks and methods to get your drums to slam in your mixes. This weekend class runs Friday 3/4/22 from 6:30-8:20 PM and Saturday 3/5/22 from 9:00 AM-5:50 PM in the recording studio at Clackamas Community College. Drum kit recording topics include: various advanced microphone placementscapturing room sounddrum tuningdrum selection considerations COVID-19 SAFETY Clackamas Community College requires masks to be worn while in the building. The recording studio is limited to 8 students to maintain recommended social distancing protocols. Shared equipment will be sanitized. REGISTRATION Registration is open to community members with intermediate to advanced experience with studio recording and Pro Tools software. No post-class refunds available to inexperienced/novice registrants or no-shows. General refunds available until 2/21/22.
