Join Skål Beer Hall for a five course aquavit & gløgg pairing dinner as part of our Valhalla Dinner Series! Celebrate the holidays with us! For our next Valhalla dinner, we bring you our spin on a Nordic Christmas Dinner with our friends from Hardware Distillery. Chuck and Jan, the owners of the distillery, will be joining us from the shores of the fjord in Hoodsport, WA. There will be gløgg. There will be lutefisk. And there will be plenty of aquavit! We are stoked to also be releasing our collaboration aquavit with Hardware Distillery, Sommarkvåll. This citrus forward aquavit will be part of the pairing and available for take home bottle purchase. There will be two dinner sessions at 4p and 730p. The menu for the evening includes: Warm Up: Pickled herring smørbrød duo paired with our house-crafted GløggFrom the Cauldron: Fårikål (hearty lamb stew) with grilled rye paired with Høvding aquavit + Carlsberg ChaserFrom the Sea: Bacon seared Lutefisk with sweet pea puree and whipped potatoes paired with Hardware Sommarkvåll aquavitFrom the Pasture: Roast Duck with Savory rice porridge and braised red cabbage paired with Hardware Dill aquavitFrom the Baker: Spiced Christmas Cake with White Chocolate drizzle paired with Hardware Cardamom aquavitYou'll have the opportunity to hear from and engage with Chuck & Jan as well as our Executive (bearded) Chef, Jon, in an intimate setting.
