Learn how to make your own wreath using freshly harvested or dried materials from our urban farms and local partners. Wreaths make great seasonal door hangers or table centerpieces. All participants will get to select their own components for their wreaths and most materials are locally sourced. Whether on the door or right in the kitchen, these decorations are both fragrant and functional. Most of the herbs will dry out within a week and can be used in cooking and DIY health and beauty products for months. Bring a piece of Cultivate the City home for the holidays! Cultivate the City is an urban farming company based in Washington DC. We manage a network of sites including restaurant gardens, corporate and municipal green spaces, school gardens, a retail garden center and a rooftop farm at Nationals Park.
