Join us as four nonprofit teams square off in a charity football game. The winner gets service hours for their nonprofit. Recess Cleveland has been challenged to go head to head in a mini football tournament and we need your help to win. The tournament is open to players of all ages. Each nonprofit sends a team of 5-20 players to compete in a two-round tournament to determine a single champion. Rules: Games are played to 10 points or 30 minutes, whichever comes first. Touchdowns are counted as 1 point. Each team receives 4 downs to score. Failure to score is a turnover and the other team receives the ball at that spot. Kickoffs & throwoffs take place at beginning of game and after each touchdown. Players aren’t down until one of their flags is detached. The winner is crowned service bowl winner and will receive a small trophy and the right to give the total of all volunteer service pledges from all four nonprofits to any project or organization it so choses. Spectators of all ages welcome! Kid’s arts & crafts table plus playground supervision provided. Breakfast is provided. Flags, referees, scoreboards, and breakfast included for all nonprofit participants.
