Bilingual - English and Spanish. Full time - Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends. SparkleNYC is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor. Your main responsibility is to provide leadership to Cleaning Crew Members at each job site and be accountable for maintaining the highest quality cleaning services. We will consider candidates that come with their own cleaning crew. Tasks and Responsibilities Perform cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, emptying trash and transporting to the proper disposal area, sweeping and mopping floors, and filling in for absent team members. Schedule work assignments, establish priorities, maintain an accurate record of assignments. Ensure that all employees are working and all shifts are covered. Oversee the productivity and breaks of team members; communicate performance issues to management. Review and ensure accurate timekeeping records for the team. Perform follow-up inspections of cleaning assignments given to Crew Members, and ensure quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations. Responsible for the training, coaching, and performance management of each member of the team, giving them direction, motivation, and guidance. Responsible for inventorying cleaning supplies and submitting orders to maintain stock. Responds to customer needs and requests; resolves customer concerns. Must meet deadlines, effectively communicate with Management, follow, and implement company procedures and policies with little supervision. Must work successfully with fellow cleaning team members and all levels of the organization and maintain the highest level of quality standards. Must be able to understand and explain instructions on how to complete a task using basic communication. Education and Experience Highly organized and efficient. Trustworthy with strong personal integrity. Forward-thinker who can proactively handle situations to head off any crisis. Proven ability to prioritize tasks. Perfectionist, super attention to detail. Minimum 3 years experience in a supervision role.
