You may ask: who are you and what kind of music do you play and why should I go to Britannia Arms in Cupertino on December 11? Well, in a few words - Lev, Olga and Anton play songs that they like. Because of their various backgrounds both musically and culturally, they end up liking a lot of different music. From Brazilian Bossa-Nova's, to heartfelt songs from are motherlands to piercing songs from Russian rock. Lev and Olga Frayman - a power duo from Minneapolis, Minnesota who have been performing (and living) together for more than 17 years. They are known for their unique style of combining classical Russian Bard music with rock and roll hits. Olga’s vocal performance plays homage to the great divas of Russian music including Irina Bogushevskaya and Zhanna Aguzarova. Lev’s guitar improvisations and informal way of engaging the audiences will make you feel like you are meeting a friend that you haven’t seen for a long time. Having performed in various venues across the States, they love coming to the Bay area where they have many friends who they hope to see at this concert. Anton Plotkin is a multi-instrumentalist coming all the way from Khabarovsk, by way of Israel to Minnesota and then most recently to Sunnyvale . Anton brings groove and soul with his unique bass playing style and heartfelt renditions of songs from all over the Russian rock spectrum. Since moving to Sunnyvale Anton has been active playing with HaPitot, Israeli local band.
