We are looking for a full time maintenance staff member for a December 1st start date. This is a 40 hour per week position that comes with 1 week paid vacation after 9 months on the job and pays a salary of $41,600 per year which is based on 40 hours per week times $20 per hour. Job schedule is Monday through Friday 11 am till 7 PM every day with some flexibility to exact start and end times. There is also the potential for up to 5-10 hours per week of overtime as well. The job is to do both interior and exterior cleaning, bringing property trash out to the curb as well as some general maintenance and repairs for apartments and condominiums we manage with 99% of the work being done in Dorchester, Mattapan & South Boston. JOB DESCRIPTION: The full time maintenance staff person will handle a multitude of tasks on a daily basis at multiple properties. These tasks will range from bringing out property trash to the curb based on a set schedule, cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of properties and general maintenance tasks. Majority of these tasks will take less than an hour such as repairing/replacing screens or re-installing a toilet paper holder to the replacing of smoke and CO2 detectors and addressing clogged toilets. All work will be based on either tenant calls for repairs or inspections done by housing authorities listing repairs that need to be made. The job is never boring and will present new tasks and challenges on a daily basis. Maintenance Staff is supervised by the maintenance coordinator directly and by the principal of the company as well. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 18 Years of age Valid drivers license & satisfactory driving history Being on time each & every day Good work ethic & pride in craftsmanship Tech savvy enough to work off of an iPhone every day for work assignments and communication Ability to multi task and maintain a detailed schedule every day General carpentry skills such as the ability to replace doors, install kitchen cabinets & bathroom vanities Knowledge and experience in painting, tiling & non license required plumbing & electrical work JOB COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $41,600 IN ANNUAL SALARY OPPORTUNITY FOR 5-10 HRS PER WEEK OF OVERTIME IF DESIRED COMPANY VEHICLE TO DRIVE WHILE ON THE JOB AS NEEDED FOR CLEAN OUTS OR TASKS REQUIRING IT COMPANY PHONE 1 WEEK PAID VACATION PER YEAR (ONCE ON THE JOB 9+ MONTHS)
