Description

Looking for a heavy equipment operator to power construction equipment onsite for an earthwork construction project. Construction equipment will include a bulldozer and an excavator with hydraulic hammer in a wetlands environment. Equipment might also include trucks, front-end/track loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, scrapers, and skid steers. Move and stabilize earth and materials in a safe and efficient manner. Experience with dozers highly-preferred Requirements: Must be able to operate heavy construction equipment safely and with confidence to perform excavation and earthwork onsite for projects High School diploma or equivalent, 40 hour HAZWOPER training certification REQUIRED Must be able to understand and demonstrate the limitations of heavy equipment, properly interpret load charts for associated heavy equipment and manufacturer approved attachments for the construction equipment Must be willing and able work in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectious materials, and at times inclement weather conditions
