The Sexton provides an essential service to a busy downtown Church by ensuring a clean, comfortable, safe environment for all who use the space. Duties: · Cleaning and maintenance of the building including general custodial duties, monitoring supplies, and building upkeep. · Security – welcoming and creating safe environment for members and guests with special attention to the safety of children and elderly; monitoring the building use and security · Hospitality – setting up for meetings or events, making coffee and other beverages, setting up food and tables, etc. Part-Time: 15 to 20 hours per week with additional hours for special events Must be available to work Sundays Rate: $14.50 - $15 per hour with a paid two week vacation Please stop by church or office to complete an application or email your resume.
